برعاية معالي وزير الدولة محافظ العاصمة عدن أ/ أحمد حامد لملس و بدعم هيئة الأمم المتحدة للمرأة نظمت اليوم في العاصمة عدن الإدارة العامة لتنمية المرأة معرض الصور بعنوان “هي عدن سطور و صور” .
وبعد قص شريط الافتتاح، قام الأستاذ عبد الفتاح القطيبي، وكيل محافظة عدن، والأستاذة اشتياق محمد سعد، مدير عام إدارة تنمية المرأة بالمحافظة، والسيدة دينا زوربا، ممثلة هيئة الأمم المتحدة للمرأة، بجولة في أرجاء المعرض الذي احتوى على صور تذكارية وقسم خاص بالبيت العدني وآخر يعرض ملامح من التراث العدني.
وخلال الحفل ألقت مدير عام الإدارة العامة لتنمية المرأة في محافظة عدن كلمة رحبت في مستهلها بالحاضرين، مؤكدة أن المرأة العدنية كانت منذ البدايات نبض الحياة في المدينة؛ شاهدة و صانعة و ملهمة. و أضافت أن المرأة لم تكن مجرد جزء من الحكاية، بل كانت هي الحكاية ذاتها في العمل والتعليم والنضال، وفي بناء هوية عدن المتجددة عبر الزمن.
من جانبها، أعربت دينا زوربا، ممثلة هيئة الأمم المتحدة للمرأة ، عن سعادتها بالمشاركة في المعرض الذي جمع رائدات عدن ووثق جوانب مهمة من تاريخ المرأة في المحافظة. و أكدت أن للمرأة خصوصية ودورا محوريا في قيادة العمل النسوي والعمل المجتمعي والتقني على مستوى المحافظات كافة.
She is Aden… Lines and Images”: The City’s Pioneers Create an Unfading Memory

Under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of State, Governor of the capital Aden, Mr. Ahmed Hamed Lamlas, and with the support of UN Women, the General Directorate for Women’s Development organized today in the capital Aden a photo exhibition titled “She is Aden… Lines and Images.”
After cutting the opening ribbon, Mr. Abdul Fattah Al-Qutaybi, Deputy Governor of Aden, Ms. Ishtiaq Mohammed Saad, Director General of Women’s Development in the governorate, and Ms. Dina Zorba, Representative of UN Women, toured the exhibition, which included commemorative photographs, a special section showcasing the traditional Adeni home, and another highlighting elements of Adeni heritage.
During the ceremony, the Director General of the General Directorate for Women’s Development in Aden delivered a speech in which she welcomed the attendees and emphasized that Adeni women have always been the heartbeat of the city—witnesses, creators, and sources of inspiration. She added that women were not just part of the story; they were the story itself—through work, education, struggle, and shaping the ever-evolving identity of Aden.
For her part, Dina Zorba, the UN Women Representative, expressed her happiness in participating in an exhibition that brought together Aden’s pioneering women and documented significant aspects of women’s history in the governorate. She affirmed that women hold a unique and central role in leading feminist efforts as well as social and technical work across
